After the apartment there was a three bedroom villa. Then John and Maria helped friends to rent their properties. In 1994 they founded Solmar Villas. John and Marias late and great daughter Julie then took the helm and worked incredibly hard to grow Solmar into a wider family of over 100 people, most of whom are based at our head office in Burton upon Trent.
